The Hunter Valley Community Service District (HVCSD) was formed on May 3, 1965, and is located in the southerly portion of Del Norte County in the HunterValley north of the town of Klamath. It primarily serves the Hunter Valley subdivision. The District boundary encompasses approximately 38 acres with a coterminous Sphere of influence.  In 1965 & 1966 HVCSD was deeded 5 sections of land located throughout the Hunter Creek Subdivision including the small developed land for the Well, Wellhouse, pumping and distribution infrastructure and a 10,000 gallon storage tank.
